Demolition Permit Application

A demolition permit application from the City of Pottsville Code Enforcement & Zoning Office for property owners or contractors planning to demolish structures.

Submit applications to: Code Enforcement & Zoning Office, 401 N. Centre Street, PO Box 50, Pottsville, PA 17901. Phone: (570) 622-1234.

Required Inspections

  1. PA One Call 811 must be called before demolition can begin.
  2. Call Justin Trefsger at (570) 622-1234 Ext. 1374 for inspection before backfill. Sewer line must be capped and a stub extended above grade.
  3. Call the Sewer Authority at (570) 622-0513 for inspection before backfill to verify sewer capping and stub above grade.
  4. Call Justin Trefsger at (570) 622-1234 Ext. 1374 for final inspection.
